This Saturday is the Winter Solstice, making it the longest night of the year. Food, warmth and shelter is distant dreams for many on the streets.
Ground Patrol willingly made their way to the Grand Parade to lend their helping hands at a food and blanket drive. They teamed up with the volunteers and organizers from the Mustadafin Foundation and Pick 'n Pay. These selfless, good hearted individuals gave up their time and energy to bring joy and life to those less fortunate, going the extra mile to LeadSA and show support to their city.
Pags and Kelly were fortunate enough to get involved and hand out warm plates of chicken breyani, hot coffees and blankets. They managed to lift spirits and fill the hungry bellies of a thousand adults and children.
