There is a growing concern over shops that are selling the glass vessels used by addicts to inhale Tik vapours, commonly known as Tik lollies.

Dr Simon Howell, senior researcher in the Department of Criminology at UCT says the Tik lolly sold in shops does not indicate that it is mainly used for drugs, therefore it is legal.

Under the drug law there isn't very much to be said about the lollies and their legalities.

Maybe we should find a smart way to engage with the open drug use.
