Sotheby’s plans to auction a 59.6-carat mixed cut diamond known as "The Pink Star" in Hong Kong next month.

De Beers mined the diamond in South Africa in 1999.

Sotheby’s aims to fetch at least R760 million for “The Pink Star”.
