The Cape Towns water crisis has compelled everyone to re-look and reconsider their water consumption.

The City has been encouraging residents to reduce their water usage and stick to the targeted level of 87 litres a day.

Northface Solar specialises in finding ways for commercial and industrial properties to reduce their water consumption

Richard Pickering, Northface Solar director says commercial properties have to first understand their consumption.

They help commercial and industrial properties draw up graphs to identify how much water is wasted and how much is used.

Through that method, Pickering says they've been able to pick up leaks in buildings, save the company money as well as save water in the process.
