This morning we all struggled not to cry as we listened to Ona's story of how he was shot in the face by police during the Hout Bay protests. Listen to their full conversation between the Kfm Mornings team, Ona and his mother, Pinky here:

“They shot those guys and I went under that chair. I peed when they shot me. I felt the pain of the shot. They shot me in the mouth under the tongue. Sometimes I wake up and my mother tells me, ‘Sorry, sorry my child you didn’t do anything.’”

Ona Dubula

A big thank you to our friends at Lottostar in helping make sure Ona and his mom are well taken care of while they recover from this trauma.
