A new book has captured the incredible behind-the-scenes changes and technical wonders of the Table Mountain Cableway.

The book, titled Changing the Lines, has been complied by photographer Gary Hirson with over 13 years of visuals.

For years, the Cableway has provided over 24 million visitors with an unforgettable experience, taking them to the top of Table Mountain in the Mother City.

Hirson captured the unique images every year when the premier tourist attraction closes for annual maintenance.
