Earlier this year, WhatsApp started working on an interesting update that could prevent users from taking screenshots of their private conversation.

The app, owned by Facebook, is developing an authentication feature which when enabled, requires your fingerprint to open WhatsApp, but users will not be able to screenshot their private chats.

This new feature is currently only in beta and has not officially been confirmed for release yet.
