Last year Cape Town celebrated the birth of the Mafenuka quadruplets when mom Inganathi welcomed Bunono, Bungcwele, Bubele and Buchule into the world at Tygerberg hospital.

One year on, Kfm Mornings hosted a studio event to celebrate their first birthday. The festivities included the traditional cake-smash experience, handing over of gifts and Capetonians wishing the Mafenuka babies a happy birthday, both on-air and off-air.

Kfm 94.5 along with sister brand LeadSA and Community Chest Western Cape added to the merriment by making a big announcement during the birthday party that would further significantly impact Inga’s life and that of her one-year-old children.

LeadSA and Kfm 94.5 reached out to us, to find out how together we can make a long-term effect on the lives of quadruplets and Inga. We believe in a hand-up and not a hand-out and will be presenting Inga with the Siyakubona award – a R35 000 initial investment and then journey with Inga to complete her information technology course
