There is really lots of benefits for the pregnant women who exercise but, also for the baby.

Obviously, there is a little bit of risk factor, falling on the bike. So, it must be someone whose confident on the bike... for the mountain biking, I would say they need to take it a little bit easier.

Moms know, you can judge by your body how you feel. That's always going to be your best guide. You'll know how you'll have to ride, you'll know what caution you'll have to take.

Highlighting the importance of gym training in addition to time spent on the saddle, Kate says "I try to emphasise that with most of my clients that they need to do their quad training and strength training... and, it's great to see after two months that they've been doing that Kate – they come and they say Kate, I'm actually feeling great on the bike."
