What's
your most embarrassing moment?
When I was a student, I called a mate of mine one morning after a great night before, to hear why he didn't come out with us. I proceded to tell him what a d**s he was and the he was the biggest loser on the planet, after which his dad said, 'Do you want to speak to Sean?' |
What's the best piece
of advice you've received?
From my gran, "Do unto others as you'll have them do unto you". I really see it as what goes around, comes around. And its so true! |
What's your secret
indulgence?
Anything Italian. |
Who has influenced you
most?
Many people have influenced me on different levels. In terms of radio, I love Alex Jay, while I think Mark Gillman is the best content guy on the planet. |
What's a typical Sunday morning
like for you?
In Cape Town its been pretty chilled. Usually breakfast somewhere with a view or if I'm feeling self indulgent, something Italian. |
Bio
I started out in radio in 1999, if you don't include the mockradio shows I did while in high school. Did 4 years of hard labour at PE based community station, CBFM 107.9 (now Bay FM). Did everything, from graveyard to Station Manager. Then spent almost 4 years at Algoa FM, also in PE, as a weekend presenter and the station's music compiler till March 2007. I joined our sister station 94.7 Highveld Stereo in Joburg in March 2007 as the Music Compiler, and subsequently got sent to Cape Town and now managing 94.5 Kfm's playlist and presenting Homebrew on Sunday evenings from 6-8. |
