What's
your most embarrassing moment?
Well, I was chatting to 2 mates of mine at a cocktail party.. The one I last saw at high school. Just then an odd, ragged looking guy walks into the room and starts chatting to other guests.
Needless to say he had a pungent odour and smelt like sour, damp clothes. My comment “ Oh my word, this dude could at least bath and dress presentable before coming to a party.” Friends comment “ Hey bud.. that’s my brother” |
What's the best piece
of advice you've received?
Eliminate all negative and selfish people from your life and focus on a positive future. |
What's your secret
indulgence?
Its no secret really, But my friend Jack and I go back a long way…Nothing like the OLD NO. 7! |
Who has influenced you
most?
To learn, love, respect and most of all to be humble and gentleman-like. This comes from my DAD.
He has raised me in all the right qualities. He has been a fantastic father of 4, A loving and caring husband to my beautiful mother and a friend and son to my late grandmother. Thanks Dad!!

What's a typical Sunday morning
like for you?
I wake –up at about 9am. Play around with my 2 kids, my wife makes breakfast ...(gotta love her), head off to church…then for a drive or land up by the in-laws.
Basically anything goes as long as its with my wife and kids. |
Bio
I started dj-ing at the age of 14, Matriculated at Rhodes High School 1997 and moved on to radio with 567 Capetalk in 1998.
I worked across the station as engineer and then ended up on breakfast with Martin Bailie.
What a great guy to work with. Opportunities saw me moving on to open my own company and deal with entertainment and marketing.
I met this wonderful woman and soon found myself at the altar nervously waiting for her to arrive. Unfortunately for her…SHE ARRIVED!! Yip… 2 kids and plenty breakfasts later!! She stood by me through tough times and has been my foundation through it all, Cant ask for anymore! I’m back at Primedia Broadcasting and loving the team at 94.5Kfm!
In the words of Robin Harricombe : “Dream big, think tall and always keep your head up.” |
