What's
your most embarrassing moment?
I cycle quite regularly and wear the “required” cycling shorts. On one particular ride I had somehow hooked the pants onto something sharp and a tear had developed at the rear of the pants and as I rode, the tear got bigger and bigger. I had a few cars go past and hoot and the people were laughing and smiling. I had no clue what was going on until I got home and saw that I was barely covering my behind – talk about covering your... |
What's the best piece
of advice you've received?
“If you don’t ask, you don’t get” is one piece of good advice, even though it is a bit cheeky! The other piece of good advice (from Jack Nickaus no less) was to keep my head down through my follow through! (I’m a keen golfer) |
What's your secret
indulgence?
It’s not so secret. I love oysters and sushi (not necessarily at the same time). A sweet indulgence is any Lindt chocolate – yummy! |
Who has influenced you
most?
My dad passed away when I was very young, and so my mom and my brothers have had a huge effect on who I am today. They sacrificed to make things possible for me and I will never forget that. I would say my mom though was my mentor, as she always encouraged me and supported me. |
What's a typical Sunday morning
like for you?
Well, currently I am on air at 94.5 Kfm every Sunday from 6-10am, and so I am out of bed at about 4:45am, I get to the studio at about 5:30am and go live to air at 6am. Those 4 hours are a bit of a blur but I love it! No late sleeping for this boy! Thereafter I tend to go into relax mode for the rest of the day. |
