Where can I buy and collect tickets?
    • You can get your tickets online at Computicket or in person at any Computicket, Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper and House and Home store, or at selected OK Furniture and Usave stores.
    • If you buy tickets online, the credit cards used to make the booking must be on hand when collecting the tickets.
    • PLEASE never buy from a third-party reseller, someone on Gumtree, or from a Facebook post. We can’t guarantee that those tickets are legitimate, and you may be turned away at the gates.
What time does the event start and what’s the best time to get there?
    • The gates open at 9am, and our first act hits the stage at 11am.
    • We advise that you get there early in the morning, so that you get a good spot and don’t miss any of your favourite artists!
    How long is the show?
    • We’re committed to bringing you the most live music to make you feel great – so the last act wraps up at around 7pm. That’s eight hours of SA’s best!
    Is there parking available?
    • Yes, there is secure and free parking available at the venue.
Is there a drop and go area?
    • Yes, we have a Drop and Go area, where your mom / partner / friend / Uber driver can drop you off and pick you up again.
Are kids allowed at the event?
    • Kids are most welcome. Huawei KDay is a great day out for the whole family! Just make sure you keep an eye on them in all of the excitement!
    Is there a kid’s area?
    • Yes, there is a Kid’s Zone at Huawei KDay – but your kids can’t be left unattended. You or a guardian will need to hang out with them.
What am I allowed to bring into the venue?
    • You can bring cameras, beach umbrellas, blankets, picnic baskets and folding chairs.
What am I not allowed to bring into the event?
    • Outside of the obvious (drugs, weapons, sharp objects), you are not allowed to bring alcohol, gazebos and braais into the venue. You can bring your own cooldrinks and water, but they must be in plastic bottles.

    • Yes – but they will be checked to make sure that they do not contain alcohol, cans, glass, or anything else that could be a danger to you and other concertgoers.
Will there be food and refreshments sold at the venue?
    • Yes! There are cash bars and food vendors at the event to cater for a wide variety of tastes.
Can I leave the venue and come back?
    • No. Once you’re in, you’re in. No pass-outs will be issued. PLEASE make sure that you have everything on you when you head to the gates – double-check for important medications, sunscreen, cellphones, etc.
Can I apply to be a vendor?
    • Yes, you can! If you think your food, brand or service can make #HuaweiKDay an even greater experience for the Cape, email your vendor applications to KDay@kfm.co.za
